On 9th of July 2025 we were at the faculty of law, university of Abuja, where our managing partner Tochukwu Madu esq., was invited to speak on the topic “ The Law Student’s Future: Investment Law, Tech Policy, and the Law in Practice”
It was an engaging and interesting session with the students, who were filled with hopes and aspirations about their future as budding lawyers. Our message to the them was simple and summed up in 6 phrases;
- Consistency is key
- Active learning
- Seek practical experience
- Build a strong network
- Prioritize your well-being
- Seek mentorship
Equally In attendance were some distinguished Legal luminaries like: Ayotunde Ogunleye SAN, Oyinkansola Badejo, Adesina Adebite, Tayo Akintola, Mina Obeten.
Worthy of note is the fact that DPA was founded by Lawyers who are products of the Faculty of law, university of Abuja. Our Managing Partner, while an undergraduate, served as the Secretary-General of the law students, and also the President. Safe to say that DPA felt at home during the session, and looks forward to exploring avenues to support the students academic journey.
